I know the Cl and CB 350 motors are pretty simalir but what r some of the things that aren't interchangable? I have a 72 CB350 and might pick up a mid 70's CL motor today for parts. Would it be worth it. How different are they.

They are usually identical internally.....There have been times Honda has used different trans ratios, but other than that..... The ONLY glaring difference I can think of would be in the SL 350.....The CB and CL have larger intake ports and take CV carbs....The SL has smaller ports and uses slide-piston carbs (some models missing an electric starter..)
Any of the three is a bolt-in as a complete unit, Most internals interchange regardless
