Did you remove the cotter pin from the shaft??
Center stand removal CL360
Okay so I've removed the spring and remaining bolts that pinch the center stand axle and yet cant quite muster the removal. I've tried some lube and a few good whacks but before I really beat it around does anybody have a trick for taking these out? I looked at the fiche and see that their is a separate axle or bolt that goes thru the center stand but I'm wondering if this is truly the procedure to remove it.

I also pry the two "pinch" clamps apart (open) SLIGHTLY.....
All of the above, then prepare to beat the sh*# out of it!! :lol: Lots of good penetrating oil helps. Soak it overnight.
