Hi
How difficult is it to change my cd200 roadmaster from points to electronic ignition? Is it just a matter of getting the electric ignition and fitting it? Will I have to set the timing or anything else?

Just a personal opinion from me, but why on earth would you want to convert it?
Just be thankful you have a system that is reilable but easy to fix in the unlikely event of any breakdown. I live in constant dread of my CB400a ignition failing

I agree. I just picked up a '73 CB 175 and the PO has made the wiring a nightmare by installing EI. Stick with the OEM and master the points.
