Im building a 1964 Cb92. Yes a 64. Had the frame shipped from England. I'm in need of the following:

Front and Rear brake assemblies
Race seat
Front fender
And any other odd ends you or someone you know might have.
Thank you much for reading this

Cheers,
Mike

WOW!.... You are looking for some of the hardest parts to locate.......Other than that beautiful fuel tank....
Beyond that, You'll need the parts from the correct serial number range... (several variants)
I hope you can still find the correct front hub and brake-plates, as the front fender mounts directly to the plates IIRC....
I'm assuming you are going for a 100% correct restore, but if you are interested, I have some experience modifying a 2LS Honda 350 front hub assembly to fit and work in the leading link type forks, and the "floats with the wheel" fender can be "imitated/replicated" if you want to ride it until the correct bits are located....

I really did take on a huge project. My initial intention was to modify a ca95. Then next think I know I'm buying cb92 parts from all over the world. Lol.
Do you have any pics of the wheel assembly?
Also what is this "floating fender" you're talking about?
I actually was able to bolt on a cb77 wheel no problem with a ca95 speedometer. I also had the rear hub of a ca95 relaced into a 18" rim. So I actually do have a rolling bike.
At this time "besides locating the parts above" I need to have someone spot weld an NOS replacement rear fender on my frame (original one was Frankensteined together) and have the bottom have straightened. Much work but it will be a blast when it's done!

Should be an interesting project, please post of pictures and a build thread as you go. I'm looking for a few odds and ends for my '61 CB92 as well, so know how difficult this project will be. **** luck!

First, I hope you find the wheel and parts that are correct....IIRC (and hopefully Rizingson will correct me if I'm wrong) On the CB92, the front fender struts/stays bolt directly to the Hub's side-plates (panels) and the fender moves with the wheel/tire assembly....It "floats" up and down within the fork body assembly, but is NOT directly attached to the forks.....AND, the bike will never look even close to correct without that front fender...Hence the "justification" for our fabrication of a somewhat replica arrangement....

When we made the "imitation"/replica-look wheel assembly, we chose the 350 DLS drum because the Brake-plate (left side) also contains a speedo drive that is correctly geared for the 18" 350 wheel.....
This left a plain steel spacer on the right to which we could weld attachment points for the "cheater" aluminum disc (domed to sit very close to the "real" right side of the hub) that bolted to the fender stays.......With the CB77 hub, there is no way to cheat the support stays as the speedo drive is in the way.... Our "cheater" spacer also provided the "appearance" of the speedo drive still being there..... This was all back in the mid-90's, so I have no pix, but I can draw rough sketches for you of how we did it IF you are interested...... Even in the 90's, the correct front hub assembly parts for the CB 92 were somewhat scarce and/or very expensive.....

Feel free to discuss by phone as well...************.....Steve

The front fender is attached directly to the hub's (2 bolts on each side) There are also 2 brake stays that connect via a strut to each fork leg. Since I have some fork damage I've been looking for a fork assembly, but only came up with a C92 NOS fork assembly. It has a couple of tabs on it for a fender attachment while the CB92 does not. Another difference is the CB92 has 2 brake stays, one on each leg, and located about an inch and a half higher on the fork to accommodate the larger diameter of the brake drum. The C92 has the single brake stay on one fork leg. I believe if necessary I'll be able to move the stays from one set of forks to the other and get the correct angle as well. At this time I don't know how much damage has been done to my forks due to bondo covering the damage. It might be salvageable as is. I know the correct forks are about $900 dollars if you're lucky:eek: Anyway these bikes have a very unique front brake, considered overkill and ahead of it's time back then. One of the extra special dealer options were air scoops for each side of the front brake as well. Mine does not have those.

As to moving (or adding) another brake stay securing tab, it isn't that difficult....I had to do so on my 90's forks to adapt the 350 wheel....(it was on the "wrong" side originally), so I simply added another scavenged from some damaged forks onto the other leg...... The mods I had to do for clearance on the DLS linkage were much more of a pain, but came out well....LOL..... More pix available if needed....:D;)

What are those forks too? They look different like a c110 or ca110.. they made too many variations of that bike

Well speak of the forks.
What other parts are you missing??
I might be able to help.
I have seen those forks for sale for awhile and have actually used that vendor. Let's just say the term NOS is highly exaggerated in the Asian market. I did find a couple dealers in the States that have the forks (still in primer like they should be) for 850 and 950. Until mine are media blasted, I don't know how much damage there is, so won't lay out that kind of cash quite yet. I have a friend and collector about 20 miles from me, who has bought out 3 Honda dealerships in the '90s. He had a fork assembly for a C92 (still in primer) that I got for a 100 bucks just in case I need to modify it to work. I'll try to get him to go through all the code "205" stuff he has eventually, but he's not very organized.:(

Other parts I'm needing, are the brackets for the wind screen and of course the air pump.
My engine numbers are very near matching my frame number, I think they are only 17 apart, so want to keep it accurate when I restore it. My front fender is aluminum and unpainted, I'm trying to find out if that is accurate as well. Like I've mentioned, '61 was a year of many small changes, so a lot depends on the VIN number to figure it all out.

Please let me know when your friend does find all of his 205 parts haha.

That's awesome for how close your engine and frame are. Are for the front fender it's very possible to have an aluminum fender (Hondas bin thing they did) but a little fishy if it is unpainted. I wouldn't worry too much you have a fender that everyone would rather have. It could help the value with the bike.

There were TWO air pumps on eBay probably a week ago. That doesn't happen too often.
I have a friend that has an NOS pump if you want to be in contact with him. (Hopefully he still has it, haven't spoke to him in a while.) Think he has a new lock and key for it as well.
As for the windscreen I do have a connection that has all of the windscreen hardware (he wants a pretty penny but they are all NOS). Let me know!

Yes the fender is original. In 1960 the fender, tank and side covers were aluminum as well. In '61 just the fender. If you could PM the contact info for the wind screen hardware that would be awesome, as well as the pump info.

CB92 out of barn today. Stored since 1982. Want to sell but don't know where to start. Any help appreciated. See photos at Index of /CB-92
Welcome to Hondatwins 707mike.
Can you give us some back story on the bike, such as how you came onto it. Title status etc. Engine number as well as frame (located under right side cover down lower right) It looks like a doable project for someone with the patience to search for what's needed.
