Hey all,

The bike runs great and mid/high rpm, but at Idle I noticed what sounded like an intermittent click from the left side of the bike. It sounds exactly like the very beginning of a starter solenoid engagement or like something metal to metal contacting under the stator cover but that all looked ok. When it would occur the rpm's would stumble.

What I could feel was the left carb almost clicking/chirping when it would occur. Think "hiccup" but it is felt through the bike. It happens with the air filter pods on and off. Does it need a rebuild or adjustment?

Thanks in advance.

Any tips? Seafoam did not seem to fix the problem.

Use a mechanic's stethoscope (or a length of small tubing in your ear) to verify the sound is actually coming from the carb. To me, it is more likely the spark jumping around the spark plug.
