I have a 73 CB450 with a worn Shifter Stopper Wheel. I heard there is a way to repair them. Does anyone know where I can go to research that?

I know it's been documented here before but might take some digging. Should be fairly obvious fix though. Make worn parts unworn. A welder and a lathe would help.

If I remember, I drilled the old pin out, found a carriage bolt that fit the hole. Ground the rounded back flat with my grinding wheel. Knocked the square off the pin with a file and cut the threaded part about a 1/16" longer than it needed to be.

Put it all back together and gently mushroomed the pin. Then test fit for clearance and filed or sanded accordingly to fit after that.
