So my fuel tank simply sits on a rubber mount. I have never seen the original intention of this mount as it seems like I am missing something since it bounces around and is not held down by anything other than gravity. Does anyone have any good options for me to keep the fuel tank from moving around?

You need to insert the tank tab into the tank rubber by twisting and manipulating the rubber around the end of the tank.

On the original mount, the tank fits in the middle of the "block", so there is a rubber "strap" holding it on, and a rubber cushion underneath.....

Yeah it seems like my mount is ripped in half then because it's simply a rectangle and doesn't have that top part. Searching for parts comes up with nothing, so I'm assuming it's not an available part. And scouring ebay doesn't really seem to help. Are there any good alternatives?

That part is no longer available from Honda, but I see them on EBay all the time......

Did the style ever change? I only asked because my search turned up with that same auction and the description was for up to k4 though not k7...but it does look right I guess.
