I have a normal 1966 black bomber, with a new "Police" iginition lock.

Can some one indicate difference in operation between normal, and police ignition lock, and could I rewire the inginition lock?

Moved to DOHC electrical.

Thnaks I will posts some pictures, when the fuel tank is reinstalled.

I researched the iginiton switch differences:
Normal version:
5 positions
7 wires according to manual (6 molex + brown???)

Police version:
4 positions (1 off, 4 parking light); 5 wires in molex (6 connectors)

Function, and wire color based on labeling on the back of police switch
HL Headlamp: Black
TL Parking Lights: Red/White (connected at two points)
SE Rectifier: White (connected at two points)
DY Dynamo: Brown
BAT Battery: Red


ML meter light, and IG Iginition wiring is missing, and also not labeled at the back. 2 dots at the back open for soldering.

Who can help to rewire this switch!!
