I picked up a 1978 cb400a that had been vandalized--all wiring connectors cut off, along with a lot of wires.

It is back together except for the ignition switch wires and the change relay, Honda 38320-41T-008.

If I read the wiring diagram correctly, on the change relay:

Brown/Red, Blue/Yellow, and Dark Green are to be on the three-blade connector.

Red/Brown and Black are to be on the two-blade connector.

But,
Which of the blades go to which color wires?
Where would I find those pinouts or a list?

Thanks.

Do you mean Light Green/Red and Black on the two pin connector? Hope so, otherwise got to check the accuracy of the schematics.
I'll check this when I get home.
Check to see if the pins on the change relay have markings. (BA, ST, P Si, E, 1, 2) If so, LG/R goes to ST, Bk goes to BA on the 2 pin connector.
1 goes to B/Y, 2 goes to Br/R, E goes to Green.
I'll verify this tonight. If it is the case, I'll update the FSM and schematics to include this information.

Then click on the pdf link for the diagram of the terminals.

Great reply! I will test the module and also connect the terminals. This is very helpful. Thank you so much.

OK. I wired it up according to the service manual diagram.
I was a bit confused at one point:

"1 goes to B/Y"

According to the Honda service manual,
B is Black (not Bk), so B/Y is Black with Yellow.
I do not have a Black with Yellow.
But, I do have a Blue with Yellow, which would be L/Y.
Yes?

Yes. B/Y is Blue/Yellow. Which service manual do you have?
