Who can help me to identify my CB350 twins VIN code?

It's CB350E



Original owner was TT driver Mr. Salervo. He told me this CB350 was his race pit bike between years 1969 to 1972.
in 1972 he drove CB to his backyard shed where I found this rusty bike in 2017 (few months ago).
He also told to me the bike came from HONDA Germany and has not change any parts after he got it and it's never used in road traffic.

Pity about all the rust. That's going to be a tough restoration.
It looks like it has the German turn signals and tail light.
Interesting that year of manufacture doesn't appear to be stamped. (196)
That bike would probably fall into the General Export range of number.

The 350E stamped on the engine stands for just that, engine.

If it were a US bike that serial number would peg it as a 1969/K1. Kind of looks like that too.
