I've been taking apart my 350 to have the frame powder coated but I've hit a roadblock at the swingarm. I can't get the self-locking nut to budge. I've tried WD-40, I've tried heat, I've tried banging it with a hammer. Nothing has worked. I gave up when I started to round off the edges of the nut and thought I'd stop in and see if anyone has any advice on this.

Thanks,

Rob

I second that thought, but with added heat. Any penetrating oil besides WD40 will do MUCH better. It's no good for loosening stubborn nuts/bolts. Worse case scenario, you'll have to use a small grinder and grind one side of the nut off, and use a chisel to smack it off with a hammer.

have you tried turning the bolt from the other side?
if you have access to one, an impact gun should get it off in seconds.
