Hey everyone, I have been searching the forum but I can't seem to find anyone with this same issue.

I can't seem to get the bolts in the cam sproket to lossen. I have been hitting it with PB for two days but the bolt is just really on there. I am using a small 10 mm wrench which is not helping but I can't get my socket in there. The manual mentions a universal box wrench which looks likes it pivots. This would definitely help but I can't find anything similar. Vice grips used to try and keep it stable.

Pics for reference. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Put your cam support blocks back on and hold the generator nut stable while loosening the bolts. Once both are loose then remove them

what Doode said...

I'd also recommend getting a 6 point socket and swivel

1/4" Drive (6)-Point socket on a 6" Extension with a Swivel on the socket end.

I actually just did this yesterday. I used a piece of a wooden shim jammed against the sprocket and the inside of the rocker box. I applied a 10mm box end wrench to the bolts and smacked the wrench with a plastic dead blow hammer and the bolts loosen up.
