Hello, I am a new member on this forum and I am looking for some help on some issues I am having.
I recently bought a CB 250 superdream, that has been chopped into the style of a rat rod. I was assured that the engine was sound and running and everything on the bike was good.
Having recently started to rebuild it, i have done my head in trying to understand how the dual carbureturs work and how the throttle connects to them.
the pistons and needles inside the carbureturs are in top condition, but i can't get my head round how the throttle cable connects to the system and how the system works.
To be very blunt, how do the carbs on a CB250N work..?
I have an engineering background, so feel free to get technical on the subject.
Many thanks for your time and i look forward to you help.
I will be posting pictures of the bike sound.

Welcome to the forum, Bill. Got any pics of the bike? If you peruse the fuel sections on this site, you will get specific info for your bike/carbs. Here's a general chart for the circuits of a carb....
