Hi ..I found that I have lots of spare parts including a CB250K0 1969 frame, so I decided to build up a CB250K2 replica (the bike in Candy Custom Gold / White I had when I was a student). I also have a '69 CB250K0 (UK) , CB350K1(USA) anda CB250K0 JDM 'Dream' replica made up from another UK CB250K0 frame. The UK model CB250 K0 & K2 used the 'boot' type forks (rubber gaiters to us Brits). The fork parts on the UK CB model seems to be compatible with the USA CL350 model. However, the forks I am using on my UK spec K2 replica do not have the fork ear indicator hole or tapped bush for the side reflectors, as they are from a UK K0. In my K2 Parts Book, the part numbers I think I need (in primer ..'non-sanding') are 51606-318-670Z & 51602-318-670Z. I have found a NOS source of 51606-318-67 1 Z & 51602-318-67 1 Z parts, which I guess are intended for the K3 model but physically look the same (K3 used same for stanchions as the earlier models.). So my question is ..does anyone know what the difference is with the 670 & 671 suffix parts? Perhaps the reflector tapped bush is a different thread?
