Hi, I am rebuilding a 1974 CB360G5 engine which has a damaged Cylinder Head (12200-369-000) My question is can i fit a CB250G5 Head (12200-367-000)
I know the head cover (12301-369-000) and the Camshaft (14101-369-000) are the same on both.
According to my Haynes Workshop Manual the Stroke is the same on both the 250 & 360.

Exactly.....While they "share" many parts, the VOLUME and diameter of the compression domes are likely different
With a 250 head on a 360 the compression ratio would likely be TOO high....Presumably, the 360 gasket would seal, but would leave a thin area where correct "burn" would be impeded....
