I recently purchased a 2005 cb250 and I have had the problem of the choke knob trying to spring closed all the time, which often leads to the bike stalling at the first set of lights because the engine hasn't warmed up yet.

I've managed to alleviate the problem slightly by routing the clutch cable in behind the choke knob so that the cable kind of holds the choke out, but it's not perfect.

I tried adjusting the friction nut on the knob but it was already as tight as it can go and it doesn't really seem to do anything.

Is there some other way I can add a bit of friction to the choke knob so it stays out until I push it back in?
