My intake boots on my Cb200 project are shot. I can't find anyone selling replacements online though. Is this one of those parts where you have to go generic and hope it fits? Or can I use 175 boots? Thanks
175 intakes do work. They are however aluminum instead of rubber (which is good) and do use a spacer between the intake and the head to avoid heat transfer. This spacer adds enough length that the 200’s studs aren’t long enough. You can create new studs by getting threaded rod the same pitch and cutting to size.
You can also use CB160 intakes, these are aluminum as well but unlike 175/200 intakes these are different from left to right. I believe you would need two right side? intakes if you were using 160 parts. Don’t quote me on that though.
