Hi- I just installed aftermarket pipes on my 1972 CB175 and found that the kickstarter does not clear the new pipe- it is slightly larger in diameter at that point than the original. I just need about 1/2" to clear. The kickstarter arm looks like it is forged but I'm not sure. Can I put a torch on it and gently bend it out or will bad things happen? The other option is to put a dent in the pipe which I'd rather avoid. Any ideas? Thanks
