I have a CL175 that I am getting running and it's missing the choke linkage that makes them move in unison. I wish I had tools for some simple metal working but I do not. Just wondering if anyone has some up with any clever household items that can double as the linkage? Just needs two holes in it and to be right length.

I thought about that. I'll give it a try I just need to find a wire hanger. Also need to see if I can get the end to bend tight enough to stay on the post. Thanks!

Use a pair of 10 gauge wire ring terminals for the ends with a piece of coat hanger wire between them. You could solder or epoxy the wire in the barrel ends of the terminals.

The ring terminals are a great idea. I just bent a coat hanger and it worked great. It's rigid enough to work just fine.
