Hi!

I'm restoring a CB360 (engine)/CJ250T (rest) hybrid and need to replace the carb manifolds.
It has a 356ccm 6-gear engine so I suppose it is a CB360, not CJ, but cannot locate the exact type due to change of the engine's factory numbers.

The issue:

Inner diameter of head intake has 31mm. The original manifolds are matching.
Inner diameter of all replacement manifolds I found is 36mm.

Questions:
What type of CB360 this engine could be?
How to solve this case?
I haven't found any 31mm CB360 replacement manifolds.

Looks like a CJ360 to me. The tank and 2:1 muffler and seat hump give it away. The engine number should identify it too should say CJ360E ####### behind the cylinders onto of the gearbox.

Dear Gixxer,

it looks like CJ because it is CJ :D  (with one of CB360-line engine).
Factory engine numbers do not exist anymore, they were replaced years ago - I wrote it in the first post.
It would be easy to identify the type having the number.

Anyone has any idea what type of CB/CJ 356ccm 6-gear engine type has 31mm inner diameter of intake/manifold connection versus usual (?) 36mm?
Or maybe ordered manifolds are wrong size?

Will be grateful if you can measure the diameter of the intake e.g. on yours spare/dismantled 360ccm engines.

Best
