Looks like a pretty kick a$$ site with a bunch of great guys... Good work..
Now to my question/problem. 1971 CL450 original carburetors and recently cleaned and rebuilt with factory replacement parts. Bike starts great and idles fine but when brought off idle and throttle is returned rpm's stay around 2-3 k without dropping down for 10-15 seconds and then rough idle. The factory airfilters were replaced with Uni's. Wondering if this could be a jetting problem or syncing and how to properly sync the carbs. Thanks

Could definitely be a jetting issue due to the new Uni's. Regardless, you'll need to rejet for the increase in airflow. Also, verify your float levels, sync them and also ensure there are no air leaks around the manifolds (i.e. rubber carb holders).

Thanks for the reply. I played with the floats today and got them set but only by hand. I tried looking around to find the float level specs but havent had any luck (thus why im here). Do you know of a website where i could find the information with out buying a repair manual?
