I have just done a total carb soak/cleaning and blown out all passageways with compressed air on my carburetors. Well I thought I blew them all out. Until I came across this photo that shows a tiny passageway that I didn't pay any attention to because I didn't notice it. What is this?
on some carburetors, that tiny hole is called a 'progression hole', which adds fuel just off idle, it helps to smooth the transition between idle and partially open throttle, as the slide or butteryfly opens.
