Hello I have a 72 CB450 that I am turning into a cafe racer. I am looking for a seat that won't break the bank; if anyone can point me in the right direction please do so. Also I either need new front fork tubes or need to re-chrome the ones that I have. If you have any advice please help.

I'm with Frontstreetcycle on this one..... Cheapest way is to make your own... But it IS a messy proceedure..... Here's a "back half" I made for a 500T sitting on a 450 frame. (Cost: ~ $20 in materials + LOTS of work)..... And a full seat I made for the 90 (search " fabricating a fibreglass seat pan 101 " for step-by step details)....However, if you don't have the time or space to do your own.......

I also say build it yourself if you can. That way you get to design it to fit the look and size of your particular bike. I did a write-up over at dotheton.com on the process I took when I did it. I'll be following a similar process when I make a seat for the 350.
