Bridgestone Spitfire?

I have a pair of old worn Bridgestone Spitfires on a spare set of tubeless Comstars, their tread pattern is a bit 'unique' so I notice these tires are present in a great number of new members' 'before' photos, so they were either great tires, a great deal, or one of the few choices that still fit the bikes.

I'm wondering if anyone is using the current offering, the Spitfire S11. They seem like an inexpensive, all right choice and are tubeless applicable.

What say you? Anyone riding with them lately?

I think that's what I've got, I'm not riding fast enough to push probably even the cheapest tire to its limits but they're fine for me, I haven't had problems in the rain either. They've lasted 7000ish kms so far and they've still got room to wear
