Where is the breather tube typically routed? The original tubing is cracked and broken short, so I'd like to replace it.
Thanks.

Over the back of (behind) the engine and aimed at the road..... I like to "aim" a slightly shortened one at the countershaft gear... any escaping liquid oil will lube the chain rather than drop under the tire........

Bumping old thread. My CB350 has quite a bit coming out of the breather tube. Compression is alright 175/185 so not sure where its coming from. My breather tube was originally routed the stock way, but the top of my swingarm was getting covered in a light film of oil after a long highway ride. I added a catch can and it collects about an ounce of brown water after a ride. I would like to get rid of the catch can someday but don't want to risk oil over my tires. Is Steve's idea of pointing it towards the sprocket a good idea or am I putting out too much water and will ruin the chain?
