Came across an issue with my brake light (CB360). Tail light works just fine, but when applying either the front or rear brake, the brake light isn't illuminating. I tried replacing the bulb with no success. Could this be a wiring issue?

Ideas/suggestions appreciated.

yes or the bulb socket itself (loose wire inside) there are two plug in connectors in the brake light wire you need to check they ae plugged in, one under the seat going in to the rear fender and one inside the tail light bracket it's the green/yellow wire

Try jumping power to those wires...If the light then lights, it possibly bad switches...so then jump battery power to the "other" switch wire and try again with the switch activated.... If light works, bad power lead to the switches...If not , bad switch...

I thought I had the same issue with my cycle this summer, turns out, the rear brake sensor (that get pulled by a wire on your break lever) was stuck open... so, the brake light was stuck on. Might this be the issue?
