Just starting a new resto and I have a small blasting cab in my workshop. Basically paint and rust, lots of rust removal. I always used to use aluminium oxide but wondered about Garnet or walnut shells.....Any idea's

I have allways used fine coal dust .You can adjust the pressure to get the cleaning you want. You can buy it at Tractor supply stores. I use 50 pounds of air pressure on alum and 150 PSI on steel.

Another option is aluminum oxide. Harbor Freight and other vendors sell it.
