Here are some bikes that recently sold at a Las Vegas Auction. other than some unique bikes, it goes to show that it's tough to make any money restoring these things.

CL160 $4500

'68 Superhawk $4250

The bike I'd really like to have $7750

CBX's are unbelievable.

See the Honda's here http://www.midamericaauctions.com/showa ... rch&ID=140

Triumphs were crazy expensive. This this Hurricane sold for $19,000! Man, I remember seeing these things sitting on the dealer floor.

Those are just CRAZY STOOOOPID PRICES!! To think, I've owned at least 6 of those models and never sold any of them for over $600 or so.. Most all of mine were in similar condition or better.

Seeing those Super Hawks makes me wish I had mine back. Mine defintely wasnt in the shape that black one is but it was a blast to ride. Fouled plugs terrible though. I tried to ride it slow around Mid Ohio one year at Vintage days and it didnt like that at all.

It's definitely a 250 or 305 - I've never really been able to tell the difference just by a casual look.
I'm sure Steve can tell.....
