Its the wire that delivers the juice to the plug and its not completely shot, the black rubber/plastic housing is pulled back from coil and copper wire appears to be partially broken but not completely disconnected.

That's pretty much it. you probably could fix it, but getting another coil is a much better idea and a lot less likely to leave you forty miles from civilization in the cold rain at 0200 Sunday with a dead ignition.

then two of these - Part #23-3114

You'll be out the door for about $60, and you won't have to worry about it any more - there's an article here about it in the 450 section -
I need some new coils for my CB350. Will this set up work on that bike, too? I'm pretty sure the answer is "Yes", but I wanted to verify with you guys before forking over the cash.
