I have just painted my bike with acrylic auto paint and I am wondering if I should use auto polish on it now or wait a while to let the paint harden, does anyone have an opinion on this?

let it harden.....usually they bake them to harden them before cutting and buffing

You can wet sand the finish and hand buff the next day. If you are going to machine buff, you probably ought to wait at least a week.

Fresh paint, never wax....for a couple of months...
