An FYI here -
If you get sick of messing with an old leaky disk master (I know I sure did), I noticed that Mikes XS Shop has a couple of alternates available.
Mike's is one of my favorite sources for alternate stuff, and they have a couple of masters that would work fine on these bikes, in the $60-$70 range.

Though I do recall that there's a potential issue with the mirror mount threads on Yamaha stuff - they may be reverse threads on one side or the other, can't really remember.
Aslo,as mentioned here before, this is the place to get replacement coils for our Twins, almost a bolt-up.
