I've started to overhaul a CB350K4, which has been off the road since 1988! Have managed to collect from second hand sources most of the missing parts but I am not sure how to correctly attatched the fuel tank chrome strip I've recently acquired, can anybody help by describing how it attatches? any photos would be great

i've attached two photo's showing my fuel tank, should there be clips?

thanks

Mine was just glued on. If I wanted to reapply it, I would recommend 3M weatherstrip adhesive. It's available in a few different colors, and is very strong if you follow the directions.

The 350 tank that came with my 360 project had tabs I think.....I swapped it for Rods 360 tank so I cant check it right now. Is that tank of yours re-sprayed? Chances are they were removed.

Re: ADVICE WANTED to attatch fuel tank chrome strip (on CB35

My 350 has little metal barbed clips under the chrome strip.
I'm sure they are the type that used to hold the finishing strips on old minis.
They are not probably original but they sure work.
