Hi all,

Question about the accelerator pump cover for my CM450e. I’ve been searching but have not found this part addressed yet, forgive me if this is redundant.
So as I’m surgically cleaning my carbs and following the rebuild guide posted here, I’ve cleared the check valve in the pump cover, and the other aperture. However, I can’t get any spray to go through the tiny brass tube that is seated between the check valve and hole on the lid seat. Is this a plug or should I be seeing it cleared and flowing?

thanks!

Hey James. That is a one way check valve. There's a ball and spring on the other end. Spray should come out past the brass slug when you spray into the open hole, the one with the brass sleeve is output.
