Hey guys got my bike started today after it’s been sitting for about 12 years. Idled down real nice and sounds great. Used a Gatorade bottle as a gas can just to get it started. Went to put the new petcock on my gas tank and I guess they sent me a vacuum petcock. Since my bike didn’t have one like this from the factory, is there a way to make this new petcock work or buy another one? Thx

Post a pic. You can probably mod it. I made a vacuum petcock for a VF500F vacuum less today. I replaced the diaphragm with orings and filled the vacuum outlets with solder.

You could use one of the sync screw ports to supply vacuum. You'll need the 5mm screw in vacuum adaptor and some vacuum line. Motion Pro sells the adaptors and there are other sources around.
