If I've got this right you want to use the 350G wheels on a '79 CB400T2.
First thing to check is the bearing sizes for each wheel to determine if you can use the original axle. Wheel spacing between the forks is next followed by rotor position to the caliper. You will also want to check tire sizing.
If the axle sizes are different, most likely you can get bearings and seal to adapt them. The only comstar to wire swap was where one of the guys put Comstars on a CB450 DOHC. He used the SOHC swing arm and front end. The SOHC is a taller bike, it sits higher than the 350/450 series.
