So,

The headlight was working perfectly no issues what so ever. I went for a ride and park it for a while. When I got back on I noticed the light didn't come up. I was told some models turn off the lamp when you hit the starter switch, and that It probably is dirty (starter switch) and needs to be cleaned. All other lights come on normally when the ignition is on the on position, except the headlight.

The lamp is the original lamp that came with the bike, btw.

Any one out there that had a similar problem?

Do you by chance have a "multimeter"? See if you have continuity. If so check voltage at the plug.. follow the cuircut back to the battery... you will find it..
You COULD start at the battery and work forward.. but I have a feeling your low beam filliment is gone.
