The Lester wheels on that bike are worth more than the asking price. I sold a set of Lesters from a CB750 for nearly $500. There are plenty of Goldwings left (at least around here), so I wouldn't feel too bad about altering one for self amusement purposes.

There a guy off of Fremont in Seattle (Outcast and Company) who's doing a cafe build from a Gold Wing. I saw it about two years ago. Don't know if it's finished, but you might swing by and take a look. Pretty cool project, if not impractical.

Yeah, at about 2:45 when I bought it. I'm going to try to get it running, although it's pretty rusty for what I wanted to make it into. We'll see.

Jim (jamespal) from Bellevue also has a GL he is working on if I recall correctly. Might want to hit him up for tips.

The 75-77 oldwings are the most desirable, better cams and bigger carbs, more horsepower than the later ones..
