I have the shop manual for the '75, but am looking for the Owner's Manual. I've looked for hours through the links and haven't found it, except for one place and I don't feel like paying $40 to get it. I'm also looking for any manuals for the 1983 CM 250 Custom. This later became the Rebel (thanks 66sprint, don't know why I put "Bandit") I heard, so maybe one of those manuals will work, although the one I found was different, as it only had one combined instrument whereas mine has two. The right instrument isn't a tach, but just three lights; high-beam, turn and neutral and is about the ugliest thing I've seen. I'm tempted to try to put the tach from the 200 on it.

The CM is the predecessor of the "Rebel" so the engine specs should apply...Frames and suspension are completely different......
Not sure what good a tach would do without a drive for it........

Good point. I was thinking of an inductive pick-up on a plug wire, but that would require a different tach from the one on the 200.
