Hi Everyone
It looks like my cam chain on my 1972 CB175 came apart one day while I was out riding. I'm not a mechanic but I'm willing to give it a shot if someone can step me through the repair process. Can this be repaired without splitting the engine case apart?

if you can find a cam chain with a master link (stock style) you don’t have to split the case.

That's good to hear. I assume my chain had a master link that just came apart. Can I not just simply reattach it? I guess the main question is how can I get the master link bits

out of the engine and put it back together properly. Or if I get a new chain, how would I get it down and around all the places it needs to be threaded through... like the tensioner and crankshaft sprocket?
