[cd175 guru]

I have installed a radio on my cd175 it's a 6v bike and a 12v radio i have yet to get a 6v to 12v power converter to run it properly. it works off 6v surprisingly well, but we had a decent 40 degree day so i took it for a spin to test the radio and the new floats runs like a champ but the radio cuts out every now and again, i found the issue to be the antenna which i ran through the triple tree and come's out just above the front of the tank i was wondering if anybody knows any way to lengthen the antenna it's just a blue wire with a plastic tip on it i haven't had any luck lengthening these types of antenna's before. or anyway to help the reception would be greatly appreciated.
