Looking for the top piece of the carb that the throttle cable runs through. 1970 CD175. I've searched hi and low but haven't found one. Mine was in pieces when I unscrewed the top.

Where are you? I've a couple extra... Or you could find a parts carburetor... Mine are from as 160, but I bet the tops are interchangeable.

There are carb parts for sale on ebay motors if you search for cb160 carburetor

I'm not really a parts seller. But my rudimentary Honda skills tell me, you might source carburetor tops from a bike like mine. We might measure to be sure... Then I would suggest you buy them from eBay motors. Good used parts.

Thanks for the help. I'll mic the cap nut I have and let you know. That way I'll know for sure a 160 piece will work.

My ring measures 33mm inside the threaded surface.

On my cb these are left and right parts, as I've a left and right carb. Not sure what top a single carb would use.

I don't know how to post links to pages. On ebay motors right now is a carburetor parts lot for under $40 . Item number 354602445180. Try that.

I sent a message asking him the size of the caps. I also saw another guy here in PA with a set as well and messaged him. I don't know why but I had typed in CL160 and didn't see them. Not sure why I typed that. Old age I guess. Thank you. I'll let you know what I find out.
