Does anyone know where I can buy a new cam chain tensioner blade for a 360 G5 in the U.K.?
I have tried David Silvers but they don’t have them up to my engine No. I thought they would be all the same but not sure. Alternatively has anyone got a good one I can buy off them. Mine has snapped. Also need the holder for the top.

I would actually think you wouldn’t want the early style - the tensioner recall was a big deal, and you definitely want the revised blades in there. It should be a drop in swap, they designed them to be backwards compatible afaik (I’m assuming yours is a ‘74). Common Motor has them, but I’m not sure how much shipping is to the U.K. I might have a top holder if you can’t find one on that side.

As an aside, are you planning on splitting the cases? I’d recommend it - my broken tensioner left 4 pieces of ~1 inch long blade bits floating around in the case, and the chain sanded the tab on the damper flat. It’s well worth getting in to look around.
