Took of the cylinder head to have my exhaust stud repaired. Have mostly reassembled, but just thinking now that I have turned the crank numerous times and reinstalled the can but can't remember the position of the can lobes before I started. I've the marks on the can gear correct and set at t mark on the flywheel, but might not be correct? Also need torque settings for all head bolts.

The closest manual I have is the CMX250 Rebel. It calls for 17 foot pounds on the nuts for the head studs which are used in place of bolts.
Cam timing is done by the rotor on the T mark and the cam gear set so the 2 alignment marks are parallel with the head/valve cover mating surface. I suspect your's is the same because Honda has been using that setup since the 70's.
