Hi Guys, well my project is coming to a close and to be honest its been a fun interesting refurbishment, steady flowing until now, prepping the fuel tank for painting and discovered a lot of pin holes, sanded back to the bare metal and got my friend to try welding but turns out there is a lot of rust inside the tank and even at low settings the welder is still blowing holes in it. gonna try Kreem and attempt to coat it a couple of times from the inside.... fingers crossed.

anyway, my question is this, 450 nighthawk tanks are very rare and hard to come by in decent condition and as I live in Northern Ireland, shipping costs from USA or Canada are really expensive. does anyone know of a tank from another bike that would definitely fit without having to modify mountings or brackets

Thanks IMG_0039.jpg

Hi,solder is a good way to fix pin holes if you have a old school radiator shop or know someone with the skill, that's best way before using a tank sealer.
