Hello everyone. Just bought a 1978 Honda CB400A. While i am an Auto Tech for 30+ years I know little about motorcycles. While i won't have a problem repairing one. I am here to learn the in and outs and tricks people with experience with motorcycle repair

Welcome to the forum. You'll definitely need to post pics as this is a rite of initiation here.:D Dan, LDR and AD I am certain will provide a gentle nudge for proof of steed.
You'll also need a proper Factory Service Manual. PM sent.

Welcome to forum.

The A is a great bike and fun ride. They are a little different from a standard motorcycle. I suggest a FSM and reading it cover to cover. take a good look at the torque converter , change switch and ing. systems.

Yes - pictures are a prerequisite. You know what they say (well, we say it around here anyway)... no pics, didn't happen! :D
