I wanna make this a rider. I have already started cleaning it up some. It has silver paint on the engine and wheels. I already have the rear rim cleaned up. I do not know why it was painted because it is nice and shiny chrome under the paint. No rust on that one. The front is a bit harder to clean due to the paint being heavier and there is some rust scale on it. I am not sure how nice I can make the engine. Right now i do not plan on taking the engine out or disassembling it. I will clean what I can. It does run. I have tuned it and changed the oil already and took it for a short putt up and down the driveway. I do need to get a front tire due to weather checking. I have mirrors on the way and a new shift lever (the one on it is mangled!). I also have a center stand coming from a 75 CB360. I figure it should fit. I just need to figure out where to hook the spring on the frame. The exhaust I have coming is a MAC 2 into 1 system. It says it will retain the centerstand and oil filter access. The muffler was full of holes. I am still looking for a seat lock. That is missing. There was a small tear on the seat so I stuck a small patch on it.

I also may need the rubber bushings for the handlebar mount bolts. The handlebars wobble back and forth. I need to tighten them up somehow.

If your in the states i have a number for a honda dealer in ohio that has pretty much any impossible part to find for a 360.

Also if you didn't know the 360's have a centrifugal oil filter. Its paperless and more or less slings oil to the side of the bowl its in. I thought some jerk just didn't bother replacing mine. So if it says access to oil filter its talking about side cover access. Which you'll find you still have to remove the brake lever and kicker. But aside from that its not hard to get to.

no problem, 360fan! We are talking about exhausts here so, no prob.

yes, I will take pics when done. Will be proud to show off the new look!

MR Cycle was lousy on this order but, they did give me the lowest price I could find on the piston set/ diaphrams for the carbs. I do have to give them that. But, they are lousy at keeping you posted (you have to call to inquire...they wont answer emails and don't send tracking info...) and they are slow to ship.
When you get those babies on throw up a video. I haven't seen a lot of different kinds of CB360 mufflers except online. Just pictures, i want some fairly quiet but nothing super loud. I want the bike to be a nice dependable DD. For weekend fun that the triple or "the ......whenever i get a job Katana 750"

I'm so envious, i wish our garage had a floor drain. Thats awesome!

I may dare to take a pic of what i'm working in, its infinity times worse than what you've got. I'd kill to have room here.
wow, maybe i'll do a roadhawk. Thats a cool taper it has. I don't like the machine gun baffle though. I know most of the mufflers have those, just don't like the look of the end, as far as the muffler it looks pretty sharp. I like your headers too, i haven't used engine enamel on mine but i've seen some that claim 1200 degrees at autozone. I think i'm still wrapping mine though. the black to chrome looks weird IMO. All black would look great, all chrome would look alright too, the combo is just strange. But hey, i know your situation and i think it still looks pretty awesome.

Plus you get to ride, thats always the most important thing. As long as its functional who cares what it looks like, ride that baby :D
After looking at it in those pictures, that black/chrome setup looks totally different in the sun than in the garage. Looks great man, ;)
yea it should be sitting at 18-20 in/hg I'm not sure that the old propane trick would work for a bike but you could try to very slowly release a little propane around the boots to see if the idles picks up.

Althought, being how the spark plugs are RIGHT THERE as well as a carb opening and the points are under a cover which are also right in that spot i doubt this is a safe idea.

Whats the compression check like on the bike. Maybe the valves are seating as well as they used to and are allowing some compression leakage.

I forget what all you put into this but what ignition wise have you checked out. If its running rich maybe a spark is crappy on the coils or points.
Damn those plugs don't look too shabby really. When you said rich i was thinking of a black electrode. A little too brown but i probably wouldn't even worry about it. I yet to run the honda without it blacking the plugs within 10 minutes. Granted that was a few weeks ago before i did more work on it. Guess i'll know as soon as i have bars back on.
