More good stuff, Paul - thanks for scanning and posting.

I skimmed over the article and found an interesting nugget - one that many hipsters (and others who chop up stock bikes strictly for looks, with little regard to proper performance or safety) should read and take note of: "it's always a disappointment when trendiness intrudes upon function".

Sadly, that was in reference to the CB550F's factory 4-1 pipe that created cornering clearance issues that previously didn't exist with the older 4-4 pipes, but the lesson remains the same

yep, it's still happening ... but instead of grinding off some chrome on the pavement, today it's about creating your own gender reassignment machine.
