Final parts to complete the 1975 Honda CB 360t. I was waiting for the air pods filters from Common Motors Collective. They make them for the 1975 CB360t (and others) so I can install them and not the factory air filters. Those are a pain. I can still keep the same cover/panels on. Just have to install the boxes and panels just add these pods. They look pretty good too. The other air pods you can get elsewhere, you have to move your batter box because they are straight. The Common Motors pods are curved. Tight fit but they work and look good (it's what I'm told and saw on another bike).
I'd be careful getting pods or any air filters off of Amazon. They are junk.
Air filters on a vintage bike have to be right or you get a vacuum leak and the gas mix/air is wrong. Bike runs like **** and makes a popping noise.
Here's another dull, boring, same old stuff.......video of me showing the pods...and my dog....and making the wife unit film it......yeah.....all that.

Got her started today. Just have to finish bleeding front disc brakes, hook up the push/pull throttle and set in the air filters. I got the air pod filters that look great but I'm going to have to modify the batter box first. I'm tired of waiting so I'm going with the factory style filters.
Bad new though. My bike has been held up by a rope to my engine winch. The rope finally gave way when I installed the tank and she fell over. I filliped out. I grabbed her and somehow, with a few less ribs that most people. pulled her up from the opposite side. I didn't want to look at what happened to that side of the bike, but by the grace of God, only the tail light plastic cover broke. Not a scratch anywhere. So I ordered a replacement. Everything is AOK.
I fully adjusted the timing chain, Cylinders and points perfectly. Even without the filters, running open carbs to the air, she started immediately. First time in a few years. Idle was very high but without controlling the air flow at all, not bad.
I'll set it all in place and hope for a good day then I'll be done.

I got finished with it all today. Put the pods on because I got tired of trying to get the factory filters on. Got the wife unit to do the filming and I'm glad she started. A bit of a high idle and a bit of a background screach you may notice when I shut her down. Any ideas of what this is please let me know.
I may do one more post on the first ride then I can put this thread to bed.
