I cleaned my carbs about 200 miles ago and now they are acting the same way they were before cleaned. This is the second time that I had to have it cleaned. Each around 200 mile incremints. What could I be doing wrong? I'm blowing them out with compressed air, cleaning them with the high dollar cleaner, etc. By the way, I have a 1975 Honda CB360T.

what are the symptoms that lead you to your carbs?

have you timed it and put new points and condensers in it lately?

200 miles is about right timing for tank sediment to get enough mung to the carbs to create problems....Was there a bunch of trash/rust flakes/junk in the bowls this last time you cleaned them?....... It could be another problem as well (battery dying out) or lots of other possibilities......Troubleshoot one area/system at a time to determine the exact cause , then permanently fix it...... I'd reclean the carbs, AND clean/flush/ add filters, to the tank and fuel lines before restarting the bike..... Then see if the problem re-occurs, and proceed to the next likely problem area......
