Hi guys - My CB125 has a strange clicking sound when I kick start it. The sound continues when it's running (which I stopped after a few seconds). It's like a ratcheting sound that won't disengage.
I opened up the right crankcase but am still waiting on the special tool needed to remove the oil rotor so that I can inspect the clutch plates and springs. (The clutch was frozen when I got the bike although it may have just been the cable. I figured I would swap out the plates and springs while I was in there diagnosing the kick start gear.)
Thing is, once the right crankcase was off, I reconnected the kick start lever and pushed it down. There was no ratcheting sound. Any sense of what was/is happening and what I should be looking for once I'm able to remove the rotor and clutch?
